OXXO, the largest chain of convenience stores in Latin America, with over 21,000 stores spread across Latin America, as well as in the United States and parts of Europe, partnered with us in February 2023 to transform their digital delivery operations.
A scalable digital ecosystem for OXXO delivery

The challenge
OXXO wanted to launch ‘OXXO Delivery’, a delivery app designed to move beyond traditional stores and into the digital space. Yes. A bullet-proof front-end was non-negotiable, as user experiences have to be seamless as well as visually stunning to keep customers engaged.
To succeed, a robust back-end was needed to handle real-time inventory and efficiently process orders. The challenge was to build an adaptable ecosystem that would not only meet these immediate needs but also support future digital sales channels. That’s where we came in.

In a nutshell: what did we deliver?
In just three months, we launched the initial version, including a new app, streamlined checkout experience, and multiple payment options. After the launch, we continued further developing the fulfillment ecosystem, which includes warehousing, inventory management, order processing, and last-mile delivery. By using Salesforce for order management and Snowflake for data analysis, we’ve ensured smooth operations with the flexibility to scale as the ecosystem evolves to meet future needs.
