My Epic Internship at Icemobile - Week 2

On my first day here, I knew this company was different. 

There are no stuffy cubicles to be found in the office, only ping-pong and foosball tables. Everyone communicates openly and honestly, and everyone seemed excited to have me on board.What makes IceMobile so special for me is it’s culture (again!). If you consider me as someone who loves everything that involves the word ‘culture’, it shouldn’t be a surprise.

Every two weeks on Friday, IceMobile hosts Friday Intersections (but the Borrel is every Friday ;)) and in my second week, I was lucky enough to be part of the intersections about the Internal Values! And there wouldn’t be a better way to learn about the company beliefs.

In a nutshell: Communicating from the inside out and fitting in the culture makes all the difference within IceMobile.

- The goal is not just doing business with people who need what you have; the goal is to work to people who believe what you believe.

- The goal is not just to hire people who need a job; it is to hire people who believe what you believe.

We have five core values (it is finally time to say “we”, yeay!) and I decided to give examples from each value every week:
