The FEM business ranked industry players based on a survey of leading venture capitalists, technology analysts and other industry visionaries. The feedback was used to compile the short list of 25 best performing and most innovative high-tech companies. Other companies recognized on the list include the recently floated TomTom (navigation solutions) and ALSI (Semiconductor industry).

This so called 'Call2Video' service is a new and simple way of offering video on mobile phones through UMTS, the network for mobile broadband, regardless of the UMTS supplier. Through Call2Video, content owners and brands can reach a higher number of end users on a simple and easy way through one service, as it works on all mobile operator networks! The competition, organized by KPN i-mode, had as objective to demonstrate Macromedia Flash Lite capabilities, to show the possibilities and new features Flash can offer for i-mode.

Playboy's mobile services will be offered to consumers through mobile carriers such as Vodafone and T-Mobile. The new Playboy services will consist of the most innovative content for mobile phones available today including videos, pictures and games. Starting in November, MMS services will also be available for consumers through the different Dutch Mobile Carriers. UMTS services will be added to the offering in the beginning of next year.

Holland Casino, the only legal casino-operator in the Netherlands, wants to further develop its marketing effort on the mobile phone. The commercial will be offered, among others, through the download platforms of KPN' i-mode and Vodafone's Live! and will be available for a variety of mobile phones.

The launch of Holland Casino's TV-commercial by IceMobile strengthens the existing relationship between both companies: last year, IceMobile developed Holland Casino's first mobile marketing action with the Mobile Game Holland Casino Roulette.
